It’s now been recognized as one of the “Top 40 Best Emergency Preparedness Blogs” by Feedspot, coming in at 24th.
Congratulations to us - but even more to all the other hard-working authors of other blogs, inspiring their respective communities to prepare, mitigate, respond, or rebuild. Also thanks to authors of the studies and reports and news that we are just covering.

The Partners in Emergency Preparedness Conference is an annual meeting held in Tacoma that is an excellent way to network with others in the disaster preparedness field – and get an excellent overview of the state of the art. Though a good deal, it doesn’t always fit folks schedules and may be too big a time and financial commitment for others.
